Clay Studio Membership in Linlithgow
Regular pottery studio access for independent clay makers in Linlithgow, West Lothian.
Make pottery part of your routine at Mhairi Connor Designs. Our Clay Studio memberships are for makers who already have basic hand-building or wheel-throwing skills and want a calm, equipped pottery studio where they can work independently, develop their practice and become part of a small community of regular makers.
Membership is limited. We are building the Clay Studio around a small group of regular members so everyone has useful workspace, equipment access and firing capacity.

- Mayco Stroke & Coat and selected stoneware glazes
- Food-safe clear dipping glaze
- Drying/storage space according to membership
- Kiln firing according to membership allowance
Who can join?
Membership is intended for independent makers with basic pottery skills. You should have completed one of our introductory pottery workshops or have equivalent previous studio experience. If you are new to clay, start with our Introduction to Pottery or a beginner pottery wheel experience before joining.
Clay, firing and additional studio time
Clay is not included and can be purchased from the studio. Additional studio hours and firing beyond your membership allowance are available separately. For makers who work from home and primarily need firing, you do not need a membership — see our Kiln Hire in Linlithgow service.
For kiln safety, outside clays and glazes must be approved before use.
How membership works
- Studio time must be booked in advance
- Monthly hours and firing allowances do not roll over
- Members work independently and leave shared equipment and workspaces clean
- Membership numbers are limited to protect workspace and kiln capacity
