An unhurried, baby-led experience

Our appointments are calm, personal and designed around you. We usually allow up to an hour, but if your baby needs feeding, changing, cuddles or extra time to settle, there is no pressure to rush. We want you to enjoy the experience as much as the finished keepsake.

You're in experienced, caring hands

Mhairi is a mum of four and auntie to seven, and has spent 28 years as a swimming teacher, working with babies and young children. She understands that little ones need comfort, patience and flexibility — whether that means a feed, a cuddle or a bit more time to settle.

You're in safe, experienced hands. We'll follow your baby's lead and make sure the experience feels as relaxed and enjoyable as possible for the whole family.

Add more little hands and feet

Your standard £50 plaque includes up to two baby-sized hand or foot impressions. Want to include siblings or capture a few more precious prints? Add an extra hand or footprint for £10 per additional impression, where they fit comfortably on the standard plaque.

• Up to 2 impressions: £50 unframed
• 3 baby-sized impressions: £60 unframed
• 4 baby-sized impressions: £70 unframed

This is charged per additional hand or footprint, not per child. Please let us know your preferred number of impressions before your appointment so we can check what will fit.

Larger family plaques: Older children's or adults' prints, or designs needing a larger plaque, are priced individually depending on size, number of prints and finish. The example photograph with three children's hands shows a larger bespoke upgrade rather than the £60 standard-size option. We'll confirm the price before making it.

Framing and premium upgrades

Choose your unframed keepsake for £50 or standard framing for £75. Upgraded premium frames and finishes are available at additional cost; we can discuss the options and confirm the price before you decide.

Looking for a thoughtful gift for new parents, grandparents or a family celebration? Select Buy as a gift when ordering. The recipient can arrange a relaxed studio appointment at a suitable time after receiving their gift. Please contact us after checkout if you would like to discuss how to present it.

Extra plaques for grandparents, godparents and family

Why make just one? Many families love to commission additional keepsake plaques for proud grandparents, godparents, relatives or other special people. Let us know before or during your appointment if you would like multiple plaques made from your visit. Additional plaques are priced separately according to size, design and framing.

Every age and celebration

Babies aren't the only ones whose handprints are worth keeping. We welcome children and adults too. Larger hands, feet or multi-person plaques may require a larger piece and a bespoke quotation — please contact us before ordering.

How it works

1. Choose your keepsake. Select an unframed or standard framed plaque, and whether you're purchasing for yourself or as a gift.
2. Arrange your visit. Contact our Linlithgow studio after purchase to arrange an appointment. Gift recipients can book when they are ready.
3. Capture your prints. We'll take your chosen impressions gently in soft clay, without rushing your visit.
4. Leave the making to us. We'll carefully dry, finish, glaze and kiln-fire your plaque, then let you know when it is ready for collection.

Making time: Please allow approximately 6–8 weeks for the handmade drying and firing process; busy periods may take longer. Each plaque is individually crafted, so slight variations in shape, impressions and colour make every keepsake unique.
